Baumit SilicatColor is a high-quality silicate-based facade paint, developed specifically for buildings with high requirements for vapor permeability and compatibility with mineral substrates. Preparation of the substrate

• The substrate must be dry, sound, clean, free of dust, grease stains, salt deposits or unstable coatings.
• Before application, it is recommended to use Baumit Silicate Primer to strengthen and equalize the absorption capacity of the base.
• For new plasters, wait at least 2 weeks before painting.

How to use

• The paint is mixed well with a slow-speed construction mixer.
• First coat: dilute with 10-15% water and apply as a primer.
• Second coat: apply undiluted after the first coat has completely dried.
• Work on the shady side of the building at a temperature of +8°C to +30°C.
• It is recommended to use a facade protective net to protect from direct sunlight and precipitation in the first 24 hours after application.
