Alkyd primer for ferrous metals Practice of the MEGACHIM brand in gray color and matt effect. Designed for priming degreased and well-cleaned ferrous metal surfaces before applying an enamel or paint finish. Especially suitable for priming black metal surfaces, details, machines, fences, metal decorative elements and more. After its application a smooth matte coating is formed, which is characterized by:

• resistance to climate change and temperature differences
• moisture resistance, protects against corrosion
• elasticity and very good adhesion

How to use: Before applying the primer mix well. Surfaces are cleaned of oils, dust and other contaminants. Depending on the preliminary preparation of the surface, one or two coats are applied.A roller, brush and/or paint spray gun are used to apply the primer.The interval between the first and the second layer is about 12 hours after the first layer is completely dry.The product is ready for use, only if necessary the paint can be diluted up to 5% with MPT or AMB thinner. Once the primer is dry, sanding and dedusting is recommended. Then apply the final coating of enamel or paint.
Average consumption rate: 100-120 ml/sq.m. per layer.
Full drying time: up to 24 hours at 23°C and 60% humidity.
Shelf life: 36 months from the date of production in factory sealed packaging.Store indoors and in a dry place protected from direct sunlight.
