Primer for difficult-to-stick surfaces 240ml

3M™ Tape Primer 94 is a high-tech liquid primer designed to increase the adhesion of mounting tapes (especially the 3M VHB series) on surfaces with low surface energy. It is an indispensable assistant when working with plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene, where standard adhesives often do not achieve the desired strength. The primer creates a microscopic bonding layer that "prepares" the material for perfect contact with the adhesive tape, ensuring durability of the installation even under extreme loads.

The product is widely used in automotive detailing for the installation of moldings, vinyl graphics and foils, as well as in the furniture and construction industries. Thanks to its fast drying and compatibility with a variety of substrates such as concrete, wood, glass and metal, 3M Primer 94 becomes a universal solution for professionals. After application, the primer remains transparent, preserving the aesthetic appearance of the details, and if necessary, it can be easily removed with isopropyl alcohol.

Method of use:

1. Preparation: The surface must be completely clean, dry and degreased (recommended with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water)
2. Application: Shake well before use. Apply a thin and even layer to the bonding area using a brush or swab.
3. Waiting: Let the primer dry completely (usually takes about 1 minute at room temperature)
4. Installation: Apply the mounting tape or foil immediately after the primer has dried for best results.
5. Cleaning: Excess primer or smudges can be removed with a rag soaked in isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).
