Anti-corrosion alkyd primer gray 900g OPRCOAT

One-component alkyd primer with high anti-corrosion performance, designed for professional protection of metal surfaces in moderately aggressive environments. Thanks to its fast drying, excellent adhesion and strong covering power, the product provides a reliable base for subsequent painting of steel structures, machines, equipment and other industrial surfaces. With a matte effect, good smoothness and resistance, the primed coating is applied easily and evenly, without brush marks or run-off.

Suitable for use both outdoors and indoors with adequate ventilation.

Substrate preparation

• Degreasing: Clean the surface of oils and greases with a suitable degreaser.
• Contaminants: Salt and dust - by high pressure water washing.
• Rust: Remove by blasting or power tool.
• The surface must be dry, clean and sound before application.

How to use

• Application: brush, roller, air or airless spray
• Thinning:
• 5% for airless spray
• 10% for air spray
• 5% when working with a brush or roller
• Working temperature: Recommended above +5 °C
• Ventilation: Ensure ventilation when working in closed spaces
• Coverage: 13-15 sq. m/kg at a layer of 30 microns
• Drying: touch: 15-20 minutes, full: 3-4 hours
