The professional orange PVC cap of the world leader PIPELIFE with a nominal outer diameter of ⌀110 mm is an end connecting fitting from the specialized infrastructure series PVC KG®. This element is designed according to modern technological standards in order to ensure tight, hermetic and secure closure of open ends in underground non-pressure sewer networks, drainage systems and drainage collectors. The cap performs an essential protective role by blocking the passage of gases, odors and liquids, and at the same time completely prevents the ingress of soil masses, groundwater, debris or unwanted objects into the unused or temporarily preserved end of the pipeline.

The key engineering advantage of PIPELIFE's PVC KG® fittings is the innovative three-layer structure of the material. The inner and outer layers are made of dense, high-strength unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), and the intermediate layer is composed of a special foamed polyvinyl chloride. This specific configuration provides the cap with exceptional peripheral elasticity and remarkable resistance to serious dynamic and static loads under the influence of earth masses and heavy outdoor traffic, while keeping the fitting lightweight (only 0.3 kg).
