Primer for metal alkyd gray 25kg ORGACHIM

Orgachim's alkyd primer for metal in red is designed for professional anti-corrosion protection of steel surfaces. Created on the basis of alkyd resins, this product provides excellent adhesion and long-lasting protection against weathering and rust. Suitable for both new metal structures and for repair of old, already treated surfaces. The primer layer serves as a strong base for subsequent painting with alkyd or synthetic coatings.

Substrate preparation

• New surfaces: Must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, grease and corrosion.
• Old surfaces: Clean old paint, rust and unstable layers with a wire brush, sandpaper or sandblasting.
• The surface must be dry, degreased and dust-free before application.

Working method

• Tools: brush, roller, spray gun
• Dilution: up to 10% with AMV thinner
• Working temperature: above +5 °C
• Consumption: about 180 g/sq.m (depending on the type of surface)
• Drying: 15 hours at 20 °C and normal humidity
• If necessary, a second coat can be applied after complete drying
