Silky wood varnish 650ml Aquis Teflon rosewood AQUIS

Aquis Silk Laquer is a polyurethane one-component water-based azure varnish for wood, intended for interior and exterior use. The product combines decorative and protective properties, creating a durable coating that protects the wood from moisture, UV rays and atmospheric influences. Thanks to the innovative formula with Teflon® additives, the varnish forms a strong film with high resistance to scratches, dirt and mechanical stress. The surface has a soft, waxy feel to the touch, and visually creates a smooth finish with a satin sheen.

Application

• varnishing of furniture, joinery, paneling, cladding, fences, verandas, shutters, siding, garden accessories and other wooden elements;
• wood processing indoors and outdoors;
• new and old wood (after appropriate preparation).

Substrate preparation

• The substrate must be sound, dry, well cleaned of dust, grease and other contaminants.
• For new wood, preliminary impregnation with AQUIS is recommended A wood impregnant that penetrates deeply, creates a protective film and guarantees optimal adhesion of the decorative layer.
• On already varnished or painted surfaces, damaged coatings are removed and the surface is mattified with fine sandpaper.
• The surfaces are not primed, it is applied directly to the prepared base.

How to use

• The varnish is stirred well before use. It is applied with a brush, roller or paint gun in one or two layers.
• The second layer is applied after the first one has completely dried, at an interval of about 3 hours.
• For optimal results, it is recommended to work at a temperature of about 20-35°C and a relative humidity of up to 60%.
• Sanding between layers with fine sandpaper increases adhesion and visual effect.
• Each subsequent layer increases the coverage and intensity of the color.
