The TP-Link TL-WA850RE Range Extender connects wirelessly to your router, amplifying and extending its signal to places the router can't reach on its own. The device also reduces signal interference to ensure reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home or office.

Press the WPS button on your router and the range extender button on your 850RE within 2 minutes to easily connect the extender to the network. Once connected to an existing router, you can simply unplug the TL-WA850RE extender and place it in another chosen location for the best possible signal quality and coverage in your home without having to reconfigure the extender.

The Ethernet port on the TL-WA850RE allows the extender to function as a wireless adapter to connect devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles, video recorders (DVRs) and Internet TV to it. At the same time, the device can also share the wireless network.

5 LEDs indicate the signal strength received by the TL-WA850RE from the existing router; the indicator helps to choose the right place to turn on the range extender.

It is recommended to choose a location where you will see at least 3 LEDs light up to ensure the range extender is working properly.

Use any mobile device to easily access and control the extender's various functions, including Night mode to control the LEDs so you don't have light irritation while you sleep.
