Decorative coating for wood Timmer Antique NEW white and Base for toning 700g

High-quality water-based coating for aging wood, decoration and protection of surfaces and products from hard and soft wood in the interior and exterior.

Preparation of the base:

• New surfaces should be thoroughly dusted, and for additional protection of the wood, impregnate with Timmer wood impregnant.
• Old or painted surfaces must be cleaned of dust, grease, resin residues and other contamination. For additional protection of the wood, impregnate with Timmer impregnant for wood.

Application:

• Mix well before application.
• Work at a temperature above 5°C.
• Apply Timmer Antique with a brush, roller or airless gun. Allow to dry for 12 to 24 hours, depending on ambient temperature, and resand with 150 - 400 grit sandpaper. For a more aged and worn look, resand individual areas of the surface until the desired effect is achieved.
• Recommendation: Laying Timmer Antique on a darker base emphasizes the effect of the coating. This can be achieved by applying Timmer wood stain before applying Timmer Antique. For outdoor exposure, an additional protective layer of Timmer water-based wood varnish or Timmer polyurethane wood varnish is recommended.
