Description
The plant grows to a height of between 30 and 50 cm. It is also suitable for planting in pots. You can sow the seeds in autumn or early spring. The best time is in mid-March, when conditions are expected to be favorable for the development of a delicate flower. Place each seed at a distance of about 20-30 cm from each other. Black cumin is not pretentious to the type of soil, but it should be well drained, with a moderate content of nutrients. The plant loves the sun, grows well in well-lit areas or those with partial shade. The flowers are decorative, star-shaped, blue-purple and attract many pollinators. Black cumin oil has a strong odor reminiscent of anise.
