Inverter electric WELDSTAR, model Compact Arc 160 5kW / 20-160A is a powerful and extremely compact electric. The maximum power of the welding current is 160 A, which means that it can be welded with electrodes up to Ф 4. The current changes smoothly as the minimum is 10 A. At 60 A the electrician can now work with electrodes Ф 2. The regulation of the strength of the welding current is done by means of a potentiometer, and on the front panel there is a knob with a pointer, which indicates on the scale the set current strength, as well as the appropriate diameter of the electrode. The electronic inverter unit has the ability to maintain constant parameters of the welding current, improves the quality of welding, works much easier.

Thanks to the Arc Force function, the rainbow burns evenly and without the characteristic cracking. With this type of welding machine, the current and voltage after the ignition of the arc change very little and, unlike ordinary welding transformers, remain virtually constant.

Limits and prevents the electrode from sticking to the welded part due to insufficient current. This is" taken care of" by another function of the electronic control Anti-Stick. In the event of a short circuit, the protection immediately shuts off the electrical circuit for about a second, so the tip of the electrode does not have time to melt and stick. After separating the electrode from the welded part, the welding process is automatically resumed.
