ORGACHIM Protekta Zinc primer for cold galvanizing, made on the basis of
ethyl silicates, high in zinc dust. It is based on zinc phosphate pigments. It is a stand-alone coating for electrocathodic corrosion protection, both on new surfaces and for maintenance of old galvanized and non-galvanized steel bases.
It protects and safeguards steel surfaces, such as building structures, ports, roads and railways.equipment, vehicles,
equipment for the superstructure of vessels, silos, tanks,
tanks, etc.
The primer can be combined with various decorative coatings, such as alkyd,
polyurethane, epoxy, rubber, etc.It is an anti-corrosion, environmentally friendly system for electrode protection of metal surfaces, equivalent to that achieved by galvanization and hot-dip galvanizing. It is electrochemically bonded to the metal surface because it contains over 95% zinc with a purity of 99. 9%. The primer is quick-drying, resistant to large temperature changes.
Protekta Zinc is suitable for work, even in high humidity. It is made in accordance with the requirements of Bulgarian legislation. The consumption rate is 250-400 g/sq.m. Dilute according to the method of application. When applying Protekta Zinc primer, by spraying with a gun, it can be mixed with 5% amount with thinner
AMV. When applied with a brush and roller, the dilution is done with 3% AMV. The recommended operating air temperature must be above +5°C.
