Description
New generation ALPHA2 circulation pump, manufactured by the Danish company GRUNDFOS. The circulation pump has an inlet power of 5 ÷ 22W. It is of class A and is intended for use in underfloor heating, radiator heating, single-pipe and double-pipe systems, etc.
The GRUNDFOS pump is generally a device that combines a motor with a permanent magnet rotor and differential pressure control. This allows the constant regulation of the performance of the device, according to the actual needs of the system. The ALPHA2 model is especially needed when the operating point of the pump needs to be optimized. In addition, the device is also applicable to systems with variable flow temperature.
The heating pump has an extremely easy to operate control panel. It is mounted frontally on the pump. The control panel can be placed in different positions, as it is gradually moved in steps of 90 degrees. There is a display on the control panel that shows the actual energy consumption. The readings are reported in W. The control panel is also equipped with eight light fields on which the pump settings can be seen.
The pump is equipped with the AUTOADAPT function, which is set at the factory. With its help the device can be started without any settings. In addition, the ALPHA2 also has a feature called "automatic night operation". It shows the status of the pump in this particular mode and its functions. The size of the connecting end of the pump is 1". The temperature of the liquid at which the pump is in operating mode is in the range of 2-110 °C.
