Bramac Wakaflex Skirting (2.40 m x 0.06 m) is a specialized finishing and reinforcing aluminum profile from the manufacturer's roofing system, designed for precise mechanical fixing and hermetic sealing of the upper edge of the Wakaflex self-adhesive waterproofing tape. This detail is a mandatory structural element in the implementation of reliable connections of the roof covering with vertical structures protruding above it such as chimneys, hip walls, dormers and other architectural elements.

The main function of the aluminum strip is to clamp and press the upper edge of the Wakaflex strip firmly against the brick or concrete surface, preventing it from peeling or slipping over time under the influence of gravity and thermal expansion. The specially shaped upper groove (bend) of the profile serves for laying a permanently elastic roof sealant (Bramac K-silicone), which creates a double waterproofing barrier and completely stops rainwater flowing down the wall or chimney, leading it directly onto the roof slope.
