Description

Bramac Nail with a cap for covers is a highly specialized fastening element of the manufacturer's roofing system, designed for precise dry installation and reliable mechanical fixation of starting, triple (cap tee) and quadruple covers to the ridge or pitch batten. This detail provides a strong structural connection in the highest and most wind-exposed areas of the roof, guaranteeing a flawless visual appearance without visible and unprotected metal parts.

The main function of the nail is to provide long-term reinforcement of the massive end and connecting covers, while at the same time insulating the penetration against atmospheric influences. The element is factory-equipped with a protective plastic cap with an integrated elastic rubber seal. When driven/installed, the seal fits tightly around the factory opening of the concrete cover, creating an airtight barrier that completely stops the penetration of rainwater, melted snow and moisture to the wooden supporting structure.

Purpose

  • Mechanical fastening of starter covers, tee covers and quadrilaterals to the ridge and gable battens of the roof.
  • Waterproofing protection of installation openings when constructing ridge connections using the dry installation method.
  • Preventing displacement and drift of heavy end caps during hurricane winds and storms.
  • Universal application as an original fastening accessory for all current models and series of Bramac concrete covers.

Main advantages

  • A safe, long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing professional solution for completing dry ridge installation.
  • Complete protection against leakage and corrosion thanks to the built-in rubber seal under the cap.
  • High mechanical strength and resistance to bending under load due to the hardened steel base.
  • Color matching of the protective cap with the roof coverings, making the fastener discreet and inconspicuous.
  • Protection of the wooden ridge structure from premature rotting due to waterlogging.
