Description

Bramac Attica Antique Ventilating Tile is a specialized concrete roofing element with a built-in grid, designed to ensure effective air circulation and reliable ventilation of the under-roof space under the main ridge. This detail is part of the handmade products series and is distinguished by a unique multi-colored surface in an iridescent "antique" color, which gives the roof an authentic, aged Mediterranean style, while ensuring compatibility with the overall roofing system.

The main function of the ventilated tile is to remove warm and humid air from the sub-roof layer (the so-called "cold roof"), preventing the formation of condensation, mold and rotting of the wooden structure. Thanks to its precisely designed ventilation opening with an integrated protective grille, the element ensures a constant air flow, while simultaneously preventing the penetration of birds, large insects, rodents, snow drifts and rainwater into the structure. It fits perfectly with the standard tiles of the series without the need for additional cutting or modification.

Purpose

  • Ensuring air circulation and ventilation of the under-roof space at eaves, ridges and eaves.
  • Removal of condensation and residual moisture outside the roof structure.
  • Protection of under-roof foils and thermal insulation from overheating in summer and humidification in winter.
  • Construction of new ventilated roofs and restoration of buildings with classic Mediterranean architecture.

Main advantages

  • Effective prevention of condensation processes and prolongation of the life of the wooden structure.
  • Factory-built protective grille against birds and external pests entering under the roof.
  • Complete water tightness and high mechanical strength thanks to the monolithic concrete base.
  • Design in iridescent antique color for an authentic, aged and unique look of the building.
  • Ideal compatibility in size and geometry with standard Bramac Attica roof tiles for quick installation.
