Universal-Silikon 280ml, hitzebeständig, grau

Gray universal construction silicone, designed for professional craftsmen and hobbyists. It is characterized by its acid hardening. It is used for joining and grouting ceramics, wood, glass, and some types of metals.
Universal construction silicone has the following characteristics:

• excellent adhesion to porous surfaces such as concrete, bricks, wood
• excellent adhesion to various non-porous surfaces, such as glass, ceramics and some metals
• a wide range of colors that are resistant to fading
• weather resistant and with constant flexibility after complete hardening.

The applications of construction silicone are different:

• for connecting joints between construction and finishing materials
• for grouting ceramic tiles
• for temporary glazing activities
• for the treatment of frames made of untreated wood, as well as those painted with oil paints
• for sealing in refrigeration rooms, ventilation systems
• in the manufacture of containers.

The basis of universal silicone is polysiloxane. Temperature resistance is from -60°C to +180°C. Prior to installation, the surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. In order to achieve the optimal effect of silicone application, the treated joints should be 5 to 30 mm wide and a maximum depth of 5 mm. The best effects are achieved at operating temperature, when installing the universal seal, from +5°C to +35°C.
