SIKA transparent one-component primer PRIMER 490T, designed for glass and glazed surfaces. It is based on solvents. Used to improve adhesion to glass and glazed surfaces. The transparent primer is extremely easy and convenient to apply. It hardens some of the moisture in the air. Suitable substrates on which SIKA PRIMER 490T works effectively are: glass, glass bricks, glazed ceramics. Surfaces and structures treated with a transparent primer must be well cleaned, sound, clean, dry, free of detergents, oils, lubricants, silicone compounds. The moisture content of the substrate should not exceed 5%. It is desirable that the humidity of the air, during the application of the primer, be in the range of 50% -70%. The operating ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +35°C. The cost rate depends on the base on which the SIKA product is placed. The indicators vary from 0.3 kg/sq.m to 0.8 kg/sq.m, as they are higher for surfaces and constructions, which are characterized by their stronger absorption. Applying the primer can be done with a suitable clean cloth.
