Putzgrund ST-16, weiß 10 l

White plaster primer ST-16, manufactured by CERESIT. It facilitates the application of thin-layer coatings, being used for treatment and treatment of interior and exterior walls. CERESIT CT-16 is especially effective when the reinforced layer has to be primed when performing Ceresit Ceretherm facade thermal insulation. It is also recommended for traditional plasters.

Various surfaces can be painted with white primer, such as gypsum boards and gypsum fiberboard, all kinds of concrete surfaces, gypsum and multilayer coatings. After applying CERESIT CT-16 paint on one base, its hygroscopicity is repeatedly reduced. This ensures a slower drying of the plasters and paints that are applied afterwards. CERESIT primer contains small particles that make the painted surface rougher and more resistant to mechanical scratches. This improves the adhesion to plasters, paints and putties. It is recommended to apply a color of paint that is as close as possible to that of the base. The approximate consumption is 0.2-0.5 l/sq.m.

Uneven or dirty surfaces must be well prepared for priming.They must be smoothed and cleaned of the presence of glue and other binders. CERESIT paint must not be mixed with other materials, and it is recommended to apply it in the temperature range from +5°C to 25°C. It is not desirable to leave the primer in direct sunlight or heat.
