Mapelastic from MAPEI is a two-component, flexible cement-based solution for protection and waterproofing of concrete surfaces, balconies, terraces and bathrooms at temperatures down to -20°C. Mapelastic is used to apply an extremely elastic, protective and waterproofing coating on concrete structures that are at risk of cracking. Seals all microcracks that have already appeared on the base.

Method of application:

• Mapelastic is available in two pre-measured components that must be mixed without the addition of water or other ingredients. The solution is applied on a perfectly clean and strong surface, which is pre-moistened with water.
• Mapelastic is applied in a single layer up to 2 mm thick.
• When laying on surfaces that are under heavy load or that are cracked, it is necessary to insert a net.
• Application: with trowel or plaster machine

Consumption rate:

• 1.7 kg/sq.m. for 1 mm thickness if applied with a trowel
• 2.2 kg/sq.m. for 1 mm thick if sprayed
