DeWALT's completely revamped DCF894N brushless XR compact wrench features a high torque of 447 Nm and an air-cooled motor. The XR ergonomic rubberized handle and the position of the switch provide comfort and maximum control during operation. The motor provides 3100 strokes per minute for heavy-duty applications

With a length of only 178 mm, the tool is compact enough to be used in tight and hard-to-reach spaces. The three operating settings - Low, Precision Wrench High and High allow optimal control of the work and reduce the risk of material damage.

Low mode works at a lower forward speed for more delicate applications, but runs at full speed in the opposite direction, where high torque is less of an issue.

Precision Wrench when moving forward, the clasp is activated at full speed until the tool starts to strike. As soon as this happens, the tool pauses to allow the user to stop, then acts with 3100ipm if more torque is required. Uses high-speed backlash to loosen. Once the tool senses that the grip is loose, it slows down to prevent release.

High speed offers full speed back and forth.

The 1/2 "(13 mm) square drive holder has a locking pin that allows more efficient torque delivery and excellent socket retention.
