Aquavit Eco by VITEX is a water-based polyurethane acrylic antimicrobial varnish, which is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces of wood, metal, plaster, glass, PVC, aluminum, galvanized surfaces and more. The product is certified with standard EN 71-3 for the absence of migration of heavy metals from toys and objects, as well as by Industrial Microbiological Services Ltd Registered in England, for its antimicrobial action, in accordance with ISO 22196.

Aquavit Eco is easy to apply, spreads evenly, without the formation of shadows and traces of brush or roller. It is characterized by exceptional whiteness, high coverage, high resistance to frequent washing and excellent adhesion, even on surfaces covered with alkyd paint. It has a discreet odor during application as it does not contain ammonia or any other hazardous substances such as aromatic hydrocarbons, free formaldehyde, heavy metals or alkylphenol ethoxylates.

Thanks to its special composition, Aquavit Eco prevents the development of microbes on the film of the applied paint, which makes it ideal for rooms with aseptic hygiene requirements, such as children's rooms, hospitals, maternity hospitals, surgical wards, medical offices , schools, kindergartens, gyms, grocery stores, hotels and more.

Prior to application, the surfaces must be clean, dry and sanded, free of grease or traces of rust. The product must be mixed well before use. Apply in two layers with a brush or roller, diluting 5-10% with water, and also or airless gun. It must not be applied at temperatures below 5°C, above 38°C and/or at relative humidity above 80%. The applied layer is dry to the touch within 1-2 hours. The next layer can be applied after 6-8 hours. Surfaces painted with Aquavit Eco can be washed with water at the earliest three weeks after painting, using a soft sponge, and in the case of stubborn stains using a neutral, colorless detergent.
