It is an anti-corrosion varnish, dissolved with an organic solvent, highly resistant, with a relief effect, suitable for use in the interior and exterior - for internal and external metal surfaces. This type of Heavy Metal Silicon has a high content of iron oxide, with a fine granulometry, which gives the painted surface a unique decorative relief effect, while providing high resistance to corrosion and ultraviolet (UV) rays. The product can also be used for painting wooden surfaces.

VITEX's Heavy Metal Silicon Effect silicone varnish has a relief texture and a specific decorative finish. The product is ready to use. It can also serve as a base paint for the colors offered in the color catalog.

Before painting, the surfaces must be cleaned with brush work solvent Τ 300, dry and smooth, free of dust or grease and sanded with suitable sandpaper. Wooden surfaces are primed after appropriate preliminary preparation. Then they are sanded with suitable sandpaper and the dust is removed. Metal surfaces are primed with an anti-corrosion primer. After it is completely dry, the surface is sanded with suitable sandpaper and the dust is removed.

Heavy Metal Silicon Effect is applied with a "hairy" roller (bear), without dilution, to create a relief effect. Can also be applied with a spray gun by diluting 5% and using a large nozzle > 2.5.

Before use, the product must be mixed well. Due to the high content of iron oxide, it can be applied to metal surfaces without prior priming, provided the thickness of the dry film is large enough. It is applied in two layers. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or at relative humidity higher than 80%. The applied layer is dry to the touch for 2-3 hours. The next layer can be applied after 16-18 hours.
