The HSS PointTeQ drill allows fast drilling in metal thanks to the PointTeQ design on the tip. Quick and easy drilling start is possible thanks to the self-centering tip, which prevents deflection. Due to the increased drilling speed, less heat is generated and wear is reduced. With its PointTeQ design, the tip stays sharp and provides constant durability. This drill is suitable for drilling through and centering holes in alloy and non-alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. It has a cylindrical gripping system (the tail is equivalent to the diameter of the drill) and is designed for use in drilling machines with stands and screwdrivers.
The risk of breakage is low, especially for drills with a diameter of less than 6 mm, as the drill has a highly elastic body. Its black oxide-covered channel ensures fast removal of chips. HSS PointTeQ twist drills are manufactured to DIN 338. They are type N (channel angle) with a 135-degree tip.
