Karottensamen Nantes Botanic

Nantes carrots are a high-yielding, sweet variety intended for fresh consumption and processing. They contain natural sugars, carotene (provitamin A), vitamins B1, B2, PP, C, enzymes, essential oils, and minerals. The roots are cylindrical with a blunt end, smooth, 15 - 16 cm long, orange-red, juicy, sweet with aroma and excellent taste. Throughout the growing season they need intense sunshine. During the first stages of development they require optimal soil moisture, later they are relatively drought-resistant, but then they need moderate humidity.
