Multiseal rotes Bitumenband 22,5cm x 10m

Tile red bitumen tape designed for sealing and insulation. It is modified with rubber and is laminated on one side with aluminum foil. Bitumen tape has various applications, such as insulation against the ingress of water into roofing systems. It repairs and maintains various buildings. The insulating tape is especially effective in filling cracks in the facades of buildings. It can also be used in the maintenance of bitumen tarpaulins and other types of roofing systems. Its main advantages and qualities are:

- resistance to bitumen,
- allows subsequent painting,
- can be applied at lower temperatures.
The tape is available in two basic colors. The upper part of one type is colored in gray aluminum foil, and the other is in brick red. In both types of tape, the lower part is a black self-adhesive bitumen tape, which is protected with a separating film. The density of Multiseal is in the range of 1.2-1.5 g/cc, which occurs at an air temperature of +20°C.The bitumen strip is elongated in case of rupture, reaching 25-50%. The application of Multiseal depends largely on the condition of the treated surfaces. They must be well cleaned, dust-free, degreased, sound, homogeneous and dry. It is desirable that the temperature of the bases and the environment be in the range from +5°C to +40°C. Not suitable for laying on ceilings with high temperatures exceeding +25°C. The presence of bitumen in the tape can lead to discoloration of coatings, plastics and natural stones.
