Polyurethan-Fugendichtstoff Flex Construction 600ml

Moisture-curable polyurethane joint sealant Flex Construction. It is suitable for outdoor and indoor use. The joint sealant is one-component, created on the basis of polyurethane. Its applications are quite wide, most often it is used for sealing expansion and structural/insulating joints in construction, around windows, doors, suspended facades, cladding. The foundations can be: concrete, brick, wood, metal, PVC profiles. Its main qualities and advantages are:
- deformation capacity of nearly 25%,
- excellent adhesion to various elements,
- hardens without bubbles,
- very short tear thread,
- quickly forms a crust,
- high tear resistance.
The working application temperature is from -40°C to +70°C. The width of the joints should be between 10 mm and 35 mm in order to achieve greater efficiency than the application of the sealant. The cost rate depends on the size of the holes in the foundations. Both the width of the joints and their depth must be taken into account. This also determines the length of the hole to be sealed. Flex Construction is applied with a suitable brush. Before that, the surfaces must be well prepared. Non-porous substrates are treated with fine sandpaper and then cleaned with a clean cloth or cloth. Porous surfaces can be primed before applying the sealant. When laying Flex Construction, the temperature of the base and the air must be in the range from +5°C to +40°C. In order to achieve the desired effect of applying the sealant, the treated substrates must be clean, dry, strong, dust-free, without traces of oil, homogeneous.
