BAUMIT Proterm boards are made of extruded polystyrene-styrofoam and are widely used in integrated thermal insulation systems. They are characterized by their resistance to deformation, do not change their shape, do not shrink and are resistant to burning. They have durability and do not change their properties even for a long time. Their thermal insulation properties are excellent, as their qualities are proven by tests of international agencies, meeting the requirements of EN 13163 and ETAG 004.
When applying styrofoam, the surfaces must be dry, clean, not frozen, dust-free, not hydrophobic, without crumbling parts. The operating temperature must be at least +5°C. It is necessary to protect the treated facade from the influence of direct sunlight, rain and wind. Changes in humidity or temperature can affect the bonding process.
The thickness of the plates is 20 mm. Their length is 1000 mm and width - 500 mm. Their reaction to fire reaction is E (European class). The coefficient of thermal conductivity is 0.035 W/mK, and the values of vapor permeability are 20-40μ.
