Alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh 55sq.m / roll Mapetherm Net

Mapetherm Net by MAPEI is a fiberglass, alkali-resistant network for strengthening the smoothing and leveling layers when repairing facades and for Mapetherm thermal insulation systems.

The Mapetherm Net fiberglass mesh helps the smoothing and leveling product to adhere to the substrate, improves their tensile strength and the resistance of the thermal insulation system to temperature changes and wear. It is used to strengthen Mapetherm AR1, Mapetherm AR1 GG and Adesilex FIS13 when applying smoothing and leveling solutions for insulation boards used in thermal insulation systems. It consists of woven fabric with hole sizes - 4.15 x 3.80 mm.

Laying:

• Apply a smoothing and leveling layer 2 mm thick on the base
• Mapetherm Net is installed
• The surface is smoothed on top with a trowel
• Apply a second coat of smoothing and leveling solution over the entire surface after 24 hours, taking care to cover Mapetherm Net completely.
• The edges of adjacent pieces of Mapetherm Net overlap by at least 10 cm
