The water tank has a total volume of 3.5 liters, and the useful volume of clean water is 2 liters. The jug works with a Maxtra filter for cleaner water with improved taste. The filter can purify up to 150 liters of water, and for best results BRITA GmbH recommends changing it every month.

The BRITA water filter jug has a user-friendly mechanical "Calendar"indicator that will remind you when the filter is to be replaced.
